Bicycle components close up

Legalities & Safety

Transparency is the backbone of our workshop. Before we dive into the grease and gears, it's vital we align on the rules of the road. We've kept our terms as straightforward as an 8-speed cassette.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Alignment

By registering for any session at Equinox Cycle Works, you're agreeing to our full protocols. We've spent 12 years perfecting our curriculum to ensure your safety and success.

2. Workshop Liability

Mechanical work carries inherent risks. While we provide tools and guidance, Equinox Cycle Works isn't liable for subsequent component failure if parts aren't replaced according to our diagnostic recommendations. Do you understand the importance of torque specifications? We certainly do.

3. Cancellation & No-Shows

We're a boutique operation with limited bench space. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a class incur a 50% fee. It's only fair to those on our waiting list. Don't be that rider left behind.

4. Tool Usage

Our Park Tool and Abbey Bike Tool sets are professional grade. We expect participants to handle them with respect. Abuse of precision equipment may lead to removal from the course without refund.

We foster an inclusive environment. Respect for all skill levels is non-negotiable here.

Our certificates signify completion, not a professional mechanic's license. Be humble.
